hCG Injections vs. Regular Dieting
The hormone that allows a pregnant woman to directly burn abnormal fat stores is called human Chorionic Gonadotropin, or hCG for short. It’s actually the hormone that turns pregnancy test sticks blue (or whatever color equates to pregnant).
But for hCG diets we only use 1/1000th the amount that women produce in pregnancy, so not only is it a natural hormone for you body, but it’s in a very safe dosage not only for women but for men, as well.
Why Medical-Grade hCG Diets Are Different
When medical grade hCG is injected into your body, your metabolism changes and you burn fat differently than on any other diet.
That’s why the claims for hCG diets sound too good to be true but are scientifically proven and validated by thousands of case studies.
So, essentially your body has three types of fat stores:
- Reserve fat stored all over your body. This is the fat that normal diets burn off (after they’ve starved your body of glycogen – aka water weight) and it’s why normal diets can’t “spot reduce fat,” and why your trouble area fat seems to be the last to go.
- Structural fat stored around your organs and joints. This fat shouldn’t ever get burned off and basically remains untouched by all diets.
- Abnormal fat reserves that accumulate around your waist, thighs, and butt. This is normally the last fat to get burned off on regular diets, but it’s also the fat that keeps you from looking slim, or curvy or in shape.
Why Most Diets Fail You – And Not Vice Versa
So normal diets slow down your metabolism by throwing your body into starvation mode after your body has burned off all your “water weight” glycogen reserves. This is why exercise is so crucial to most diets — they need you to do something to keep your metabolism going, so that you can s-l-o-w-l-y burn through your reserve fat, and finally get to your belly and butt fat.
And the bad news for the vast majority of normal diets is that the weight you lose isn’t all fat. In fact, you’re usually lucky if it’s half fat. The other half is muscle because muscle is easier to metabolize than fat and it’s what your body prefers to burn when it’s in starvation mode. Muscle is metabolically expensive – requires a lot of calories to maintain – so when your body thinks it’s starving, it starts eating muscle to decrease your overall need for calories. Not so good, right?
How hCG Bends The Rules Back In Your Favor
Because hCG works with your hypothalamus to modify the way your body burns fat, a medically injected hCG diet bypasses all of the normal downsides of dieting:
- Your body never goes into starvation mode
- Your body instantly taps into your abnormal fat reserves so all of the weight you lose comes directly from your waist, thighs, and butt
- Because you’re living on roughly 2,500 calories a day, you never feel hungry, and you actually end up burning off 2000 calories a day worth of fat (2,500 calories – 500 calorie diet)
- Better yet, ALL of the weight you lose is fat – you get to keep all your muscle
- And best of all, because your metabolism stays normal throughout your diet, there’s no need to exercise (unless you want to continue in an already established exercise program)
- Finally, your new body weight will be long-term stable. Roughly 2/3rds of our clients keep the weight off for years afterwards. This is because the hCG has “rebooted” and restored your hypothalamus function and reset your body’s natural weight “thermostat.”
So What’s The Catch?
There is no catch, but there are a few must-dos:
- You have to stick to a balanced-but-fat-free 500 calorie diet. No starches and no fat, but its otherwise a normal diet of meat, vegetables, and fresh fruit. This may not sound like a lot of calories, but your body won’t be living on just 500 calories – you’ll actually be energized by more like 2,500 calories. And that’s why we won’t put you on the diet from day one. You’ll only start the diet after being on the hCG injections for two days.
- You need to give yourself daily injections of hCG. The injections don’t hurt and we’ll show you how to give them to yourself, but hCG must be injected into your body to work. So-called hCG drops don’t work. And legally, you’re not even allowed to buy hCG without a doctor’s prescription, so anything other than a medically supervised program is a scam.
- You’ll need to stay on a no-starch, no-sugar diet for 21 days after the diet before returning to normal eating habits (but not overeating).
And those are the basics of the hCG diet. Because while the “up to a pound a day” figure is what most people zoom in on, that’s really not the best part. The best part is how the diet sculpts or reshapes your body.
Let’s face it, if someone could wave a magic wand and keep you at the same weight, but totally transform your figure and get rid of the fat you don’t like, wouldn’t that make you just as happy as “losing the weight”?
